Nice coverage there. Lots of great products on display at CES this year as well as, let’s face it, a few unrealistic ones. Although I was seriously disappointed there wasn’t a preview of the PS4 or Xbox720, the Hopper announcement more than made up for it. Being a DISH subscriber and employee I’ve been waiting for a whole home DVR for a year or so now. With my three high-def TVs, plus the one I’d love to put up in my garage over the work bench, it’s something I’ve always wanted. And the Hopper doesn’t look like it’s going to disappoint with that huge hard drive, sporting 250 hours of high definition recording time, I don’t see myself running out of memory, and even if I do, I understand the memory can be added to with an external HDD. Unfortunately I’ll have to wait a little longer to get a Hopper in my house, but it’ll be worth the wait.
